We are not currently recruiting to our 12-month programmes, however if you are interested in an undergraduate placement for your year in industry, or a summer placement, please contact your local office to find out about any available opportunities. You can find their contact details here.

Intro

Our paid undergraduate placements are your opportunity to put your knowledge into practice and make a real difference on real projects with the leading housebuilder in Britain. On our 12-month programme, you'll rotate through every department, understanding how a FTSE-100 company operates and gaining real exposure to live work. As well as building a genuine understanding of what our industry is like, you'll gain skills and make connections that will help you build a career anywhere.

We have two different 12-month programmes to meet the range of talent we need. Whichever one you join, you'll spend a week with every department so you have a true understanding of what we do before joining your selected one. At Barratt, personal development is a priority and on this programme you'll have a dedicated coach to help with technical training, a recent graduate as a buddy for advice and plenty of opportunities to show us what you can do. If you do well, we'll invite you onto the fast track for our graduate programme or potentially into a permanent role.

We also offer shorter placements if your university doesn't support industry placements and will offer summer placements if you show high potential throughout the application process.

If you want to know more about what departments there are at Barratt and what they do, go to the 'Experienced Professionals' section.
